Professional CV writing
Your CV gets about seven seconds. I know — I'm the one who used to be reading it.
Most CV writers have never hired anyone. I've hired hundreds — across retail, logistics, finance, HR and marketing. Career Guardian writes your CV, cover letter and LinkedIn profile the way the decision actually gets made.

Who actually writes it
A hiring manager, not a copywriter
I spent my career on the employer's side. Fifteen years in senior retail leadership, most recently running a $100M+ multi-site operation for a global retailer — accountable for finance, HR, logistics, sales, risk and loss prevention, with senior managers reporting to me.
Which means I've spent an enormous amount of that time doing one thing: deciding who gets an interview and who doesn't. I've hired hundreds of people, from shop-floor roles to senior managers, across five very different functions.
Here's what that teaches you. A CV isn't a record of your career — it's an argument, made to a busy person who is looking for a reason to put it down. Most CVs are honest, thorough, and completely unpersuasive. They list responsibilities where they should be showing scope, and they bury the one thing that would have earned the call on page two.
Career Guardian exists because I got tired of watching good people get passed over for bad documents. You get a CV written by the person it was always meant to convince.
The process
Four steps. No calls required.
Everything runs on your schedule. You'll spend about twenty-five minutes on your side of it, total.
Choose your package
Pay securely through Stripe. You're taken straight to the intake questionnaire — no waiting on an email to land before anything starts.
Tell me about the work
A structured questionnaire built around what hiring managers actually look for: scope, budget, headcount, and results. It takes about twenty-five minutes, and the questions do most of the thinking for you.
I write it
Your first draft lands within 48 hours for Career Launch, or four working days for Career Elite. Written to survive both the applicant tracking system and the seven-second human scan behind it.
Two rounds to get it right
Send your notes and I'll revise. Twice, included. You finish with final files in Word and PDF, formatted to stay intact when someone else opens them.

The interview guarantee
Apply to at least fifteen relevant roles with your new CV. If you haven't been invited to a single interview within ninety days, I'll rewrite it from scratch — different angle, different structure, no charge.
Applies to roles matching your experience level and target sector, using the final version I deliver. Send me your application list and I'll get started.
Questions
Before you buy
Do we need to get on a call?
No. Everything runs through the questionnaire, which is deliberate — it means you can do it at 10pm on a Sunday, and it means I'm working from your written answers rather than my memory of a conversation. If something needs clarifying, I'll email you.
What if I don't like the first draft?
Send me your notes and I'll rewrite it. Two full rounds of revisions are included in both packages, and most people only use one. If you want changes beyond that, we can talk about it — but it's rare.
Will it get through applicant tracking systems?
Yes. Your CV is built with a clean, parseable structure and the language that matches the roles you're targeting, so the software reads it correctly. But passing the filter is the low bar — the document then has to convince the person on the other side, which is the part most services get wrong.
What level of candidate is this for?
Career Launch suits most professionals — anyone from a few years in through to management. Career Elite is built for senior and executive candidates, where the search is longer, more people are involved in the decision, and your online presence gets checked before anyone calls.
What do I actually receive?
Final files in both Word and PDF, so you can edit it later and send it knowing the formatting will hold. Career Elite also includes your rewritten LinkedIn profile and a personal brand website, built and live.
What if it doesn't work?
Apply to fifteen or more relevant roles, and if you haven't had a single interview invitation within ninety days, I'll rewrite your CV from scratch at no cost — a genuinely different approach, not a tidy-up of the same document. I ask for the list of roles you applied to, partly to honour it fairly and partly because that list usually tells me something useful about what went wrong. Note that I'm guaranteeing my work, not the job market: I can't promise an offer, because the interview itself is yours.
Is this confidential? I'm still employed.
Completely. Most of my clients are working while they look — I've been in exactly that position myself. I never contact current or former employers, I don't share your details with recruiters, and I won't use your CV as an example without asking you first. Everything you tell me stays between us.
What happens straight after I pay?
You go directly to the intake questionnaire — no waiting for an email to arrive first. It takes about twenty-five minutes, and you can stop and come back to it. The turnaround clock starts when your answers reach me, so there's no penalty for taking a day to think.
I'm changing sectors. Can you still help?
That's one of the situations where this makes the most difference. A career change fails on the page when the CV describes your old industry in its own language, so the reader in the new one can't see the transferable value. Having recruited across five sectors, I know which parts of your experience travel and which need translating.
Do you write it yourself, or is it AI?
I write it. I use tools where they genuinely help — checking against a job advert, for instance — but the judgement about what to lead with, what to cut and what to make of your career is mine, and it's the entire thing you're paying for. A generated CV is easy to spot, and it's exactly the kind of document I used to put down.
How fast can I have it?
Career Launch is 48 hours, Career Elite is four working days, both counted from when your questionnaire arrives. If you're up against a deadline, priority turnaround is offered at checkout.
Twelve questions, three minutes, free. You'll see where your CV is losing the reader before you decide whether you want me to fix it.
The person reading your CV has already decided how long they'll give it.
Seven seconds, one pass, three zones. Let's make sure yours survives it.
